Introduction to coaching.
|Know your data – how to know what all those acronyms are!||Develop knowledge about different data tracking / analysis|
programmes and what they do. Understand what you want school data to do for you and how to use it in school.
Develop knowledge on the latest research behind pupil progress
|Coaching from the inside out||To consider some of the key barriers to effective working practices and explore how individual and group coaching can be an effective method of personal and professional development, helping to overcome these barriers. As part of this session you will be matched with a coach.|

Applying for a middle management position
|Develop people management skills. How best to manage difficult conversations to result in positive outcomes. Explore effective monitoring strategies to ensure that quality assurance results in continuous improvement. Guidance on how to structure a covering letter for a middle|
management position. An alternative session will be offered for anyone already in role.

Just to say what an amazing session that was. I got so much from it and you really fortified and affirmed my thinking with all matters linked to the curriculum. It’s sometimes really difficult trying to articulate the answers to some of those questions in the whirlwind that is school life but the way you’ve broken it down has been really illuminating. Just fab stuff!
We are fortunate to have Mrs Julie Roberts facilitating a research and development programme
on various topics with selected staff from across our schools. The various projects undertaken by delegates will enable staff to work collaboratively across our schools and share our common purpose.
