Modules

Modules
3 & 4
Afternoon
  • Developing and embedding whole-school retrieval practice
  • Getting pupils to think more deeply – questioning / checking and consolidating understanding

Evidence-based practice is not ‘cookbook’ teaching or policing, nor should it be about prescribing what goes on from a position of unchallenged authority. It is about integrating professional expertise with the best external evidence from research to improve the quality of practice.

Responsive teaching

Just to say what an amazing session that was. I got so much from it and you really fortified and affirmed my thinking with all matters linked to the curriculum. It’s sometimes really difficult trying to articulate the answers to some of those questions in the whirlwind that is school life but the way you’ve broken it down has been really illuminating. Just fab stuff!
